EDMONTON – You can’t keep a good mutt down.
After spending a few months in the doghouse, Duane Chapman (a.k.a. Dog the Bounty Hunter) is back on the road – nabbing some of Hawaii’s worst criminals on his A&E show and offering motivational sessions to fans across North America.
Dog will “perform” May 28 at River Cree Resort and Casino. Tickets are $39.50 plus service charges at Ticketmaster and they go on sale Friday.
Duane Chapman otherwise known as Dog The Bounty Hunter speaks in Calgary in 2007.
A&E temporarily pulled the plug on his reality show, Dog the Bounty Hunter, after Chapman was caught uttering racist remarks about his son’s girlfriend in late 2007.
All is now forgiven. He apologized, and reportedly sought counselling from civil rights leaders. The network started airing new episodes last year.
Unfortunately, Chapman’s problems don’t end there. The taxman is after him – he owes more than $2 million US in unpaid taxes, says Pacific Business News.
One of his huntin’ partners, Tim Chapman, was recently acquitted of indecent exposure charges.
