MONTROSE ” He came, he dropped off a million-dollar fugitive, and he left.

The Montrose County Sheriff’s Office reports that Duane Chapman, TV’s “Dog the Bounty Hunter,” delivered Grand Junction fugitive Eric Ludwick, 36, to a local deputy Thursday night.

“We had a celebrity in our house last night. I don’t know where Dog grabbed him at, but he must have been in our area,” MCSO spokeswoman Bobbie McCoid said Thursday.

Ludwick was wanted on a Mesa County Sheriff’s warrant alleging felony menacing, criminal mischief, reckless endangerment and reckless driving, according to the Mesa County Combined Courts.

The bond is $1 million, because Ludwick kept missing court, said Mesa County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Heather Benjamin.

  1. Quick question, totally off the subject but…I know that you monitor Beth’s tweets, and on Sept 5 or so, she mentions a baby girl with the initials “LBC” being born. Who’s baby is this? Do you know any additional information? Does anyone? I look forward to reading your reply! Thanks

  2. Are you guys gonna write about Leland’s new daughter? I heard Leland has a girlfriend named Lenette and they gave birth to his daughter Leah.
